I began my studies at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO in August of 2019. I decided to go with the University of Missouri because I saw that they were ABET accredited and I knew they would prepare me with the knowledge and foundation I need to be the best I can be in the professional field. Through my tenure at Mizzou, we started with learning the language C, which proved to be quite difficult for me as I was a fresh high school graduate with no prior experience. Through hard work and dedication, I persevered and began learning more and more skills as my time at Mizzou went on. Some of these skills include complex algorithms, database manipulation, principles of how programming languages work, and much more. I graduated in May of 2023 with a 3.4 GPA and a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science degree.

I had always wanted to get into the research side of computer science, and in the spring semester of my senior year at the University of Missouri, I had approached Dr. Dale Musser with the idea of assisting him in his multitude of research topics he has going as a part of my course work at Mizzou. Some of the ideas he gave me was helping him research topics such as WebGPU, AI Voice Generation, AI generated dialogue for Unity (think ChatGPT but for video games), and drones. Ultimately, I decided to assist him in his drone research.
